Floydfest is a premier music and arts festival that showcases well known performers as well as world and regional artists and a growing craft beer and cocktail scene. Life in Floyd County is best enjoyed with an appreciation for our beautiful mountains, valleys, ridges, fantastic vistas, rivers and streams. Nearby Roanoke, VA and surrounds has become somewhat of a craft beer Mecca, counting Parkway Brewing, Soaring Ridge, Three Notch’d Craft Kitchen and Brewery, Big Lick Brewing Company, Old Salem Brewing Company and the popular Ballast Point Brewing Company, a brewery based out of San Diego, CA has opened a facility in Daleville, VA (about 1 ½ hours from Floyd) which is the largest brewery to open on the East Coast.
